We offer a myriad of new and used portable ramps. Offered exclusively in A572-50 steel which increases durability and has a maximum capacity of 30,000 lbs. Additionally, our loading dock equipment is extremely versatile; portable ramps connected together conveniently create larger overall ramps turning any empty space into a freight-handling center.

Our ramps come with a steel grating for traction, steel legs, two movable curbs, and lift sleeves for safe access for forklifts. Edge-of-dock levelers can also available for installation on side of the ramp. This ensures functionality with your existing vehicles, equipment, and installations. Furthermore, steel grating bars do not require maintenance and designed to allow debris and water to fall through them, rather than pooling on the surface.

8-foot Level Off

Our portable yard ramps give the forklift easy access to trucks and loading docks alike. Since they are easy to maneuver, they can be useful in most loading and unloading conditions, especially when room is tight and a truck can’t access the loading dock.

15-Inch Lip

Deep overlap of ramp frame at the high end assures that the ramp rests firmly on the carrier body or dock floor. Our mobile yard ramps have eight-foot-long safety chains and hooks to provide added security and increase safety. When correctly rigged, chains join the yard ramps and vehicles into a single unit.

Hydraulic Cylinder/Undercarriage

The single cylinder allows the ramp to raise evenly every time.  The undercarriage is easily accessible for maintenance and repair.  With a single cylinder design, there are less parts to maintain.

Pump on our Loading Dock Ramps

The single acting hydraulic hand pump design requires half the effort needed to raise ramp compared to other mobile ramps. The pump has been relocated so that it’s protected away from dirt, debris, damage and makes maintenance easier to perform. The handle simply stores out of the way when not in use.

Smooth Side Plates

The yard ramps have smooth side plates that enclose all working components and protect them from possible damage from other equipment.

Low End Plate

Because the end plate is shorter than the wheelbase of most forklift trucks, front-drive wheels can reach high traction grating on the ramp, while rear wheels are still on the ground. The portable yard ramp 36″ approach plate – beveled from the underside to provide a smooth ground-level entry, eliminating jolts and bumps when fork trucks travel on and off the ramp.

Deck Grating

All of our heavy-duty yard ramps being constructed of electro-forged serrated steel for superior strength. Grating bearing bars are 1-3/4″ thick for durability in the roughest of applications. Bar spacing is 1″ apart to resist clogging of debris and to ensure all-weather, high-traction running surface.

Curbs

7″ safety curbs to prevent accidental runoff. Exclusive hollow section design and proprietary box frame construction take the stress of heavy loads and the extra strain of cargo breakout.

18-Inch Solid/Pneumatic Tires

The solid/pneumatic tires are standard on all YARD RAMP Site mobile yard ramps and are ideal for all applications. The tires do not require air to fill , are maintenance free and have lubricated for life bearings.

Positioning Sleeve

The position sleeve allows the ramp to maneuver 180 degrees which reduces loading/unloading time and increases productivity.  The fork slides into the positioning sleeve and so the ramp is easily positioned into place.  The positioning sleeve is standard with all steel mobile yard ramps. We do not recommend long distance towing with this sleeve.

Towbar

The towbar is an option on both steel and aluminum mobile yard ramps which attaches to the lower end of the ramp. Allowing for towing of ramp for short distance (within your facility). With a maximum towing speed of 5-mph. Not designed for over the road towing.
